Medical massage focuses on treating an injury or condition with the intent to restore the patient to pre-injury status or to maximum medical improvement. Medical massage requires a higher level of proficiency due to the interactive nature of the massage care with the care being given by the referring provider. While medical massage therapy is the specialty of the massage therapists at Ellis Chiropractic, it is not the only type of massage therapy available at the Puyallup massage clinic. Each massage therapist may also provide the more traditional spa style relaxation massages.
